"The Sycol Programme has definitely put us in an unenviable position when it comes to demonstrating effectiveness using the School Effectiveness Framework. It has given us the tools and understanding, which have been missing from any of the SEF events so far. Schools in our cluster can demonstrate tangible improvements as a result of this work. It has been adopted as “the way we do things around here” rather than yet another improvement initiative."

Sustain Phase
The challenge is maintaining excellence once you've achieved it, especially during turbulent times. But by this stage of the programme you'll be a "self-improving" school.
Continuous Improvement will be Core Business alongside Learning.
Practices will be transparent, inclusive, systemic and constsitent - the necessary standards required to Sustain outstanding outcomes.
